The Story Of How One Man Fell In Love With A ‘Trashmonster’ Of A Dog

Just after moving to Los Angeles, Reddit User trickygonzalez was walking home from bowling in Koreatown, when he came across a huge mop of fur on the sidewalk.

He says the dog was having trouble walking, so they waited around for someone to claim her, but nobody did. They asked a cop for advice, and he told them to either leave it or take it home. So they took him home.

The dog’s hair was in a mess, and extremely matted, he couldn’t tell whether it was a boy or a girl, but he thought it was a girl so he called her Lady.

Then Lady got a bath…

And a Hair cut!

The entire process took over 2 hours, and thanks to the hair cut it was revealed that Lady was, in fact, a male.

He renamed him Mr.Lady. For the next two weeks they made flyers and posted ads on Craiglists to attempt to find the owner.  Mr.Lady actually had a microchip but the information was out of date, and the person on the record couldn’t be reached.

Mr.Lucy was taken to the vet to make sure he was fine.

He didn’t even cry

After Mr.Lady got all his shots, he was taken to the groomer.

After the groomer, Mr. Lady looked like an entirely new dog.

He says that after his haircut Mr.Lady changed completely and started getting more energy and following him around everywhere.

Though they were not planing on getting a dog, trickgonzalez says it just felt like it was meant to be.
